Holiday courses

780 Coaching run courses during every school holiday with usual venues including Epworth, Gainsborough, Haxey, Kirton Lindsey and East Drayton.

Holiday courses are run for the benefit of all children, boys and girls, of any standard and 780 endeavour to make all sessions fun and enjoyable with a mix of games and coaching to benefit and angage everyone.

Learning and training are of great importance to 780 Coaching and as such a large emphasis on these days is one of skill development and acquisition.

Course times for the holiday are 10.00 – 15.00 and with this time comes a freedom to really develop facets of the sport and ensure participants come away with new and improved skills.

A typical day will run with:

09.45 – 10.00 Player arrival and registration
10.00 – 10.25 large skills and SAQ warm up practicing running/jumping technique as well as individual ball techniques
10.25 – 11.30 Skills training within a particular topic for the day
11.30 – 11.45 Drinks Break
11.45 – 12.45 Fun games designed and developed to challenge the skill practised in a competitive way
12.45 – 13.15 Lunchtime
13.15 – 15.00 Mini Sided Games giving the players a chance to utilise practised skilles in a match situation but whilst ensuring frequent touches of the ball
